OUR TEAM

LIANTSOA RABESETRA M ,

Travel Advisor and Founder, known as Lee , he was born in one small town of Ambatondrazaka region not far from the largest lake of the Island .
He was raised speaking Malagasy.
He studied his elementary and high school in the same town, while he study at the second grade of the high school, a friend from his town invited him to be a local tour guide of travelers from one major tour company from the capital and he immediately changed his focus, falling in love with the sounds of the tourists – their language, their cultures.
After high school, he decided to work seasonally for a local Environmental NGO serve in his region to preserve the local wildlife including the only aquatic in lemur species called Bandro as a seasonal research assistant of mainly future Biologist and from . Moved to Antananarivo to learn more about tourism, got the licensed be an official National tour guide and working in all these different capacities in tourism and for several companies, he always felt the companies were too focused on money and less on people. With his own and the team combined experience, they have other 30 years in Madagascar Tour industry and have travelled around the island with wildlife lover, photographers, TV crews, bikers, hikers, simple travelers, honeymooners, family, couple they decided to set up Tanala Touring as a local guide service then officially turn to a Tanala Adventures- Madagascar as a full tour provider.

HIS TASK IN EVERY TOURS

In every request, one of my main job is to design tours by travelers bucket list suited to their budget, give them full details of information on the day by day tours until we agree to set up one tailor made tour . Following tours quality is also one of my daily task with the other team , to ensure our guest experience by our field team or suppliers ( tour guide, driver , hotel manager etc )

We at Tanala Adventures Madagascar have formed strategic alliances with premiere local guides and partners, spanning the total length of our wonderful country in order to provide our customers with the best service and personal attention – as well as lots of Malagasy warmth.
It is our lucky task to show you this beautiful land of contrasts, a 6,000-km coastline , 2000 Km from North to the South and 600 km from the West to the East and offering such diverse landscapes as: Rock stone Forest at Tsingy of Bemaraha and Ankarana , the Island of Nosy be and Sainte Marie , Central highland , Lake & Volcano District, Canyon of Isalo , Rainforest of Amber Mountain , Ranomafana & Andasibe , dry and spiny forest of the Western region.

We care about our planet and country so our tours are focused on protecting and conserving the places we visit for future generations. In order to assemble this, we have developed low impact activities as hiking, trekking , river trip and road trip tours so that our travelers can observe and appreciate both local ecology and culture aspect.
Another main cornerstone of Tanala Adventures is getting involved the local community by programmed visits to artisans, small restaurants, small handicraft shops and booking as much as possible family run hotels and hiring local transportation and guides.
